Many people say that the popularity of going to movies is decreasing very fast. In fact they say that people will not go to movies like they did 30 or 40 years ago. The argument for that is that practically everyone can watch movies at home. Everything that you need is a TV set and a DVD play. No need to take care of the time of the show or tickets. Or there is no need to watch promotional video clips before the film which seem to be very irritating for everyone. Movie production has increased its quality for recently and this has to be approved.
But in fact the situation is not so bad. For many people going to movies is a great pastime. May of them even watch outdoor movies on a big screen just sitting on the grass having a picnic and enjoying fresh air and nature around them.
Another advantage of going to move is that nothing will substitute you a wide screen and the most advanced sound effects provided by Dolby sound system which is used practically in every movie theatre. Also the most popular films first appear in the cinemas and then just after some time you can buy them on DVD disks to watch them at home. So if you want to watch them find why not to go to the cinema.
